The Realme 8i is the successor for the Realme 7i. The Realme 8i has the most affordable phone in the best phone that we can on a perfect budget. The phone has an amazing 120Hz refresh rate display. The phone also has an amazing 5000mAh battery. The phone is available in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is priced at Rs.13,999. The higher version 6GB and 128GB storage is priced at Rs.15,999. The phone is available in 2 colors space black and space purple.

Built-in:



The realme 8i has the same look as we have seen in the predecessor realme 7i. The phone has a sport display with a punch-hole camera on the top left corner. On the right side of the phone, we have the power button, the fingerprint sensor is mounted on the power button. the volume button is placed on the left side of the phone. The position of the buttons was in an easy reach position. On the left side of the phone, we have the sim tray. On the bottom of the phone, we have the 3.5mm audio jack, primary microphone, USB Type-C port, and loudspeaker.

The body of the realme 8i is made up of plastic and the rear panel has an arc beam texture. The camera module is placed on the upper left side of the back panel. The phone has a quad-camera setup for the look, but the phone has only three colors.



The phone measures almost 8.5mm in thickness and the weight of the phone is around 200 grams which is quite bulky. the Realme 8i has a 5,000mAh battery and it is provided with the 18W charger with the box.

The Realme 8i is powered with MediaTek Helio G96 Soc processor, the realme 8i is the first phone with the helio G96 hardware in India. the phone has two variants one is the low end which is of 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and the high end is of 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The RAM can be extended in the high-end variant through internal storage. The phone has the option to expand the storage by using the micro-SD card. The phone has 2 Nano-sim slots. The phone supports wi-fi ac and Bluetooth 5, and the phone has 3 satellite navigation.

The Realme 8i runs on the Realme UI 2.0 with the Android 11. The phone has come with some amount bloatware software apps. Most of the apps can be uninstalled. Most of the apps give spammy notifications.

Performance:

 The Realme 8i has the best performance. The phone has a smooth touch display as it has a 120Hz refresh rate display panel. Multitasking on this device was pretty good. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor which unlocks the smartphone at a good speed. The phone has an amazing bright display which can use in outdoor conditions easily.  The display has 2 color controls vivid and gentle. The color temperature was cool.

The phone doesn’t have stereo speakers but also the volume of the phone was good. It would be great if the phone has stereo speakers. The phone has an amazing score in the benchmarks test, in the AnTuTu realme 8i has received 337,297 which is a good score a budget phone can receive. The phone score was higher than the Realme note 10S.

Games had run very smooth on this phone while playing BGMI even though the graphics settings were set too high the game was so smooth and there was no lag and shutter seen. After 30 minutes of continuous gaming, the phone has dropped 0 percent of the battery, and also the phone back panel had got heated.

The phone has a large 5000mAh battery which can easily sustain more than two days on a single charge. on the HD video loop test, the phone was capable to run for 21 hours and 20 minutes with ease. The phone has been provided with an 18W fast charger it charges the phone at normal speed. It may take 2 hours to get fully charged.

Cameras:



The phone has a quad-camera setup, but it has only three cameras. The main camera is of 50megapixel with an aperture of f/1.8. The phone has a 2-megapixel B&W camera and a 2-Megapixel macro camera. The camera app interface is so easy, the switching between modes. The phone’s main camera shots the photos in the default mode that is 12.5 megapixels. On switching to the 50 megapixels the details of the pictures are better, also the far objects have the best details. The front camera is of 16megapixel.

The close-up shots were amazing. The phone exhibited amazing colors which were quite good and bright. The depth effect was so soft and appears to be natural. We have the option to select the background blur before we take the shot.



Low-Light:

The camera performance in the low light conditions was amazing. The pictures have a little amount of noise but also details in the images were manageable. But the darkest places in the images were not captured properly.
The night mode option was amazing in capturing the darkest parts of the images. The shadows were amazing also the objects were sharper.

Selfie:

The daylight selfies were amazing and decent. The selfie was most amazing while the light conditions are good. The portrait selfies have the best separation between the objects and also the depth effect was made according to the distance of the objects.

Video:

The phone can record the videos at 1080P with the primary camera and also the selfie camera has the same ability. But stabilization option is not present. There was a lot of noise in the video captured. Even though the ultra-steady mode doesn’t make any impact on the video stabilization.
