The Samsung Galaxy A52S is the upgrade version of the Galaxy A52. The phone is released in two variants. The base variant is of Rs.35,999 with 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. The higher variant is of 8GB RAM with the internal storage of 128GB which is priced at Rs.37,499. The phone is available in 3 colors, the colors are awesome black, awesome white, awesome purple.

Built-in:

The Galaxy A52s has the 6.5-inch full HD+ SUPER AMOLED display with a center punch hole camera. The display is protected by the gorilla glass 5.

The Samsung Galaxy A52s has the pretty much common things with the A52. The back panel of the phone is made up of polycarbonate with the plastic frame around it. The back panel is matte finished which brought amazing look to the phone. The camera panel pop out a little as we see in now-a-days phones. The thing we haven’t expected that is the phone has the 3.5mm audio jack on the bottom of the phone. Also, the USB type-C is located at the bottom of the phone and also, we have the primary speaker. The phone’s earpiece is above the screen and between the frames. The earpiece speaker is works as the double speaker when we are not in call.

Just the like its predecessor the phone has the IP67 water resistant. The company claims that the phone lasts almost 30minutes under 1 meter water depth. On the right side of the phone, we have power button and above it we have the volume button which are placed at an easy reach position. On the left side of the phone, we have the sim tray which supports dual sim with a micro-SD card support.

Software specifications:

The phone runs on Qualcomm’s snapdragon 778G SoC processor. We have the same processor in the realme GT master edition and also moto edge 20. The phone supports 5G connectivity, dual band wi-fi 6, NFC and also 6 satellite navigation system.

The Samsung galaxy A52s run on one UI 3.1 which based on the android 11. The One UI is heavily customized which of those are Samsung brand third party apps. We have the option to uninstall the apps if we don’t need it. The phone frequently gets some of the advertising notifications from the Samsung which disturbs the phone somehow. But there is no issue with the lag when the notifications arrived.

Performance:

The  Samsung galaxy A52s has the 6.5-inch super AMOLED display has the 120HZ refresh rate which is mots useful for the fast games. The phone has the stereo speakers which are amazing, the movie and streaming experience on the phone is next level because of the stereo speakers’ sound. The display doesn’t catch smudges and fingerprints on it. But the disappointing thing was that is there is no HDR10 streaming video.

The AnTuTu had given an average score for the Samsung galaxy A52s’ Qualcomm snapdragon 778G SoC, the score is 5,07,534. The score is lower than the Realme GT score. Regarding the benchmarks score the performance was not bad in the phone. As we played some of the games on the phone such as call of duty: mobile BGMI and asphalt 9, with high graphics and refresh rate, although the phone lag free and also, we haven’t noticed any type of heating issue with the phone.

The phone has the ambient light sensor just beside the punch hole camera. the disgusting thing is that while playing games and also using the phone sometimes we block the ambient sensor which makes the phone brightness low which is the most disturbing thing for a gamer. But luckily, we have the gaming launcher app where we can enable the gaming mode and then we can flip auto brightness of the phone.

The phone has the bigger battery of 4500mAh. The galaxy A52s lasted almost 16 hours in our HD video loop test. The phone lasted almost one and half day with the normal usage of the phone which is with some gaming, streaming and other normal usage in the phone. The phone has 15W charger which charges the phone in 1 hour 30 minutes.

Cameras:

The Samsung galaxy A52s has the four rare camera and a single selfie camera. the primary camera is of 64 megapixels with an aperture of f/1.8. The ultra-wide camera is of 12 megapixels with an aperture of f2.2. The macro camera and depth camera are of 5 megapixels with an aperture of f/2.4 each. The selfie camera is of 32 megapixels with an aperture of f/2.2.

The Samsung camera interface has the fun mode which brings up the funny skins to our face. Also, we know that we have the food mode for the food picture and also as usual we have the pro mode in the camera interface app.

The primary camera captures the photos in the default 16-megapixel mode which takes the quite decent images. The primary camera is wide enough for the mid-range capture. The camera has both HDR and AI optimization. The HDR works pretty well in the sunny conditions and images and details were amazing because of the HDR while in the sunniest days.

Shooting on the 64-megapixel mode somehow increases the exposure in the images. But the exposure in the images is somewhat over which looks odd sometimes according to the light conditions we have. HDR and AI work is amazing in the 64-megapixel mode also. The phone has the major lacking the telephoto camera for the zoom shots. Also, the 64MP camera does the good job in capturing the 2X zoomed images. The images were soft enough and also obtrusive.

The optical zoom can be done up to 10X. with bout the telephoto camera lens the 10X zoomed photos were amazing. The details in the images were good enough also surprisingly the noise in the images were very low.

Ultra-wide:

The 12-megapixel ultrawide shots are amazing. The images are soft enough and also the edges of the images are soft, and details are amazing in the pictures. The color contrast in the images is good. The colors are bright enough in the images. The consistency of the color contrast is all over same.

Macro:

The macro camera taken the amazing stills. The stills were up to the expected range. The images were quite natural even though it has the aperture of f/2.4 lens. The details are excellent also the focus is amazing.

Depth:

The 5MP depth sensor camera is for the portrait shots. The images were good but not so excellent to say it. the details were low, colors were over contrasted and also the noise in the images were medium. But the bokeh effect is great enough and it is natural in look. The separation was amazing.

More than the human portrait pics, non-human pics were most amazing than the human pics.

Selfies:

The galaxy A52s has the 32MP selfie camera, in default the pics are taken in 8MP mode at first. The 8MP selfies were good enough with the great color contrast but the details were better. The color contrast is good, the high sun light days the image noise is more because of the huge light.

The 12MP stills capture wide angle in the selfie camera. The images good wide enough, but the color contrast was less than the 8MP mode. The details were good enough as of in 12MP wide mode.

Low light:

The night mode with the main camera captures the amazing details and also the noise in the images were very less. The sharpness in the shots were soft. The light conditions were good and also the shadows were good enough. The 2X zoomed images has the dull details and also color contrasts.

The ultra-wide samples of 12MP were softer enough but the details in the images were less as we compared to the main camera. The images were decent enough.

Night Mode:

The night mode enabled stills were brightened enough. The brightness in the images were increased than the low light captures. The images were heavy sharpening and also the shadows are highly detailed. 2X zoomed images in this still have the less detailed comparatively but the brightness in the images were high.

Ultra-wide in the night mode the images were quite aggressive with the bright colors and contrast images. The details were good.

Video:

The main camera has the ability to capture the videos at 4K at 30 fps. All the cameras have the ability to capture the videos at same resolution. The stabilization has in
