The Realme 8s 5G looks similar with Realme 8 5G. The realme 8s 5G had the 6.5inch display with the punch hole camera on the left top corner. The camera is slight thicker than we observed it in Realme 8 5G. Also, the earpiece is placed in between in the place of display and the frame.

The phone has the side mounted fingerprint on the power button which is placed on the right side of the phone in an easy reach position. The volume buttons are placed on the left side of the phone and the sim tray is placed right above the volume buttons. Initially we have lot of preinstalled apps on the phone, most of apps from those can be uninstalled. The theme store apps have the spammy notifications regularly.

The Realme 8s 5G runs smooth and lag free even in the heavy workloads. The 90Hz refresh rate of the phone makes the scrolling smooth. The display has the good brightness even in the sun usage too. The phone has the face recognition system with the side mounted fingerprint sensor, both of the unlocking systems were amazing and quick to unlock. Also multitasking is pretty simple thing in the phone.

The processor dimensity 810 5G SoC got the score from AnTuTu which is 3,83,775 points, which is quite good thing a mid-range phone can have. As we played BGMI and other games with high resolution settings and also high frame rate we haven’t noticed any lag or shutter from the mobile. Also, the phone hasn’t got warm even after 45 min of gaming also there was only 6 percent battery drop on the phone. The Realme’s game space allows you to auto cut calls and also block notifications while playing. Also, the game space has some shortcuts for some of the app which are necessary to you.

The battery life of the phone is good as it has the huge 5,000mAh battery. The phone easily lasts more than one and half for the normal usage. In the HD video loop test the phone lasted almost 18 hours 3minutes. As the phone is provide with the 33W fast charger the phone gets charged 50% in 30min and 100% in an hour.

The day light images have the good colour contrasts. The photos have the best details while we are shooting against the sun light automatically the HDR mode gets enabled to get the best shots. The dynamic range is so good with the primary camera. The phone doesn’t have the ultra-wide camera but also, we get the best dynamic range pics with the primary camera.

The phone has the 2MP macro camera, the pictures have the best sharpness and also the focus is good. The background blur was soft enough to get a natural look. With the AI detection the objects were recognized easily and fast. The edge detection was also good in the portrait shots. But the macro shots have only 2MP resolution.

Depth camera is also 2MP resolution. The colours contrast was normal, the brightness in the pictures were good enough to get the best natural look. The background blur was too soft for the image to get the best pictures, the edge detection was superb in the portrait pictures.

The night mode photography in the Realme 8s 5G is pretty average with low details. While capturing in the night mode enabled, we need to hold the phone study for a while to get the best snaps.

The selfies were sharp enough with good details in the best light conditions. The low light selfies were also good the sensor adopted the enough of the light around the object. Also, the background blur in the images was sharp with the good edge detection.

The phone has the ability to capture the videos at 1080p with all the cameras, with the Electronic Image Stabilisation which reduces the shakes and also noise in the videos is reduced. The low-light videos don’t have stabilisation and also videos look shimmer.
