Samsung Galaxy M32 the budget phone from Samsung

Samsung has released the new phone in the galaxy M series. The new Samsung galaxy M32 starts at Rs.14,999 as the base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. The higher variant is of 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM is priced at Rs.16,999. The phone is available in two color options light blue and black.

The phone has the big 6.4-inch AMOLED display with water drop notch as the selfie camera. the frame of the phone and the back panel is made up of plastic and also the curved frame gives the comfort to hold the phone. The phone is 7.3mm thick and weighs 193 grams as most of the phone weigh. The reason of the phone is more weight and bulk are because of the huge battery of 6000mAh. The phone is provided with 15W cable, but the phone has the capacity to get charged at a speed of 25W.

The phone has the fingerprint on the home button which is placed on the right side of the phone. The sensor was placed little high position than the older series phone placement also it is easy to reach but the older placement was too comfort to open the phone. The volume buttons were placed above the power button which are difficult to reach while using the phone with a single hand.

On the left side of the phone, we have the nano sim tray, which has the two nano sim slots with a micro-SD card slot. The phone has the 2.5mm audio jack present on the bottom of the phone, with an USB type-c port and primary speaker of the phone.

The back panel has the amazing looking glossy finish which catches up the fingerprints easily. The phone has the quad camera setup on the top left corner on the back panel.

Software specifications:

The Samsung galaxy M32 is powered with MediaTek Helio G80 processor, the processor is same for both of the variants. The 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a full HD+ resolution and high refresh rate of 90Hz. The phone has the peak brightness of 800 units this thing is said by the company itself.

The phone supports Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band wi-fi, 4G VoLTe but lacks NFC. The phone has the four-satellite navigation system. the phone also supports the Samsung pay mini. The phone gets shipped with One UI 3.0 on the top of Android 11. The security patch of the Android is May version. Good thing is that is phone doesn’t come with lots of the preinstalled apps. But those some apps have the more notifications which is the most disturbing thing.

The Samsung provides you the secure folder for your personal information storage. You can store images apps and also the access to the secure folder is easy, just by double click on the power button you get the access for the secure storage. The software of the phone also has the Gaming mode which allows you to play the game without any disturbance and notifications which block your game.

The phone screen has the refresh rate of 90hz which makes the interface very smooth and fluid. The stutter while scrolling was not observed at the time of the usage of regular apps. But while when more apps were trying to make multitasking speed of the phone is little low. I think so in the 6GB variant this performance may be better. The side mounted fingerprint scanner was very fast to unlock the phone. The 800nits display has the high brightness even in a sunny day outdoor usage. The AMOLED display has the crispy colours while watching the content while streaming.

The processor of the phone is good. The game play in the phone was run without any issues. The COD game was run without any lag and other issues. But when the game graphics were set to high there is some lag appeared. After 30 minutes of gaming the battery percentage has dropped by 6 percent. The processor of the phone has the 106,106 points in AnTuTu.

The biggest 6000mAh battery has the very good battery life. The phone easily sustains more than one and half day without any charge, even when the refresh rate has been set to 90Hz. The phone lasted almost 21 hours in the HD video loop test. The phone supports 25W charging but the box has only 15W charger. Due to this I think so, the phone takes more than 2 hours to get fully charged. We need to check the phone charging speed with the 25W Samsung charger to know the actual charging speed.

The galaxy M32 has the quad camera setup with the primary camera of 64-Megapixel and 8-ultra-wide camera and 2-megapixel macro camera and 2-megapixel depth sensor. The selfie camera is of 16-megapixel camera with a water drop notch.

The daylight photos in the main camera are good with the best dynamic range. The scene detection is quick, and colours are good. The details were average in the day light main camera. The colours were good and vibrant in nature. The colours were saturated than they appear.

The macro camera captures were amazing the details in the image are good, the noise in the images were less. The portrait shots were good enough with the best details and noise in the images were less.

The ultra-wide angle has the good dynamic range. The distortion level of the images was high in the ultra-wide images. The noise in the images were high, the saturation levels in the image were high. The details were lacking more than.

 Night mode:

The low-light mode images were good enough. The scene detection in the low light was good. The noise was presented in the images, but the capturing takes the time of seconds 5. The colours very pale.

The selfies were decent with good natural colours. In the portrait selfies the edge detection was good. The photos were smooth, but the Samsung has the auto beauty plus.

The phone records the video 1080P at 30fps, the videos were shaking more, the ultra-stabillisation method. The low-light videos were not good.
